Auxiliary Views

Auxiliary Views are commonly found on many types of industrial drawings. There are different types of Auxiliary Views. Auxiliary Views are used in Engineering Drawings to represent features that are not parallel to the primary projection plane. For example, you may have an inclined plane with hole geometry. The standard Orthographic Projection would show an isometric ellipse for this. In this case, an Auxiliary View perpendicular to the inclined plane would show the holes true size and shape.
